Identity Theft On The Republican Campaign Trail
I was at a State Committe meeting recently. I found a forgotten bag after everyone left that contained a laptop and a day planner. Inside the front cover of the day planner, where you can list persoanal information, the guy had his name, social security#, driver's license # and address listed.
That's all the information someone needs to totally screw your life up.
Be careful, friends. First, it's a bad idea to put that kind of info in your day planner. Second, the one bit of information I really needed to get his stuff back to him, his cell phone #- wasn't listed anywhere.
1) Don't put sensative info such as personal information in teyh front of your day planner.
2) Do put your phone number in there so someone can get your stuff vack to you.
Someone knew the guy and he did get his bag back. But the outcome could have been very different.
Warm Regards,
